There’s a side of hosted travel that I don’t think gets talked about enough. This is the economics of a hosted stay. Yes, getting invited to experience an incredible hotel or product is a privilege, and I never take that for granted. But for me, there’s also a responsibility that comes with accepting that invitation, and I take that really seriously. When I’m hosted somewhere, I’m not just thinking about the trip or what I’m going to post on Instagram. I’m thinking: Who is this right for? What do my clients need to know? What are the room categories like? What considerations do I need to keep in mind? The real value is me coming home with this firsthand knowledge I can share with my team and my clients, but also building relationships with hoteliers to the point where I can ask the right questions and ultimately elevate your experience when you stay there.
