🇨🇻 A MOMENT FOR EMPATHY, RESPECT, AND PEACE. This is my first video update since sharing the news about the tragedy in Fogo. Although starting a GoFundMe was never something I initially planned, we created one to support families affected by the tragic bus accident in Campanas de Cima. However, financial support is not the focus of this message. My heart is deeply connected to this tragedy. I was born in Fogo, many of us are connected as family, and I am learning that I am related to several of the victims. One of my cousins also helped with the rescue efforts, making this even more personal for me. These families need more than financial support. They need privacy, compassion, psychological care, and time to grieve. Please do not share graphic or distressing images.
