Today’s voyage is brought to us by Leen Van Dijk, who braved the trail alongside his wife and three friends for the Multistrada V4 Voyagers - Centenary Edition. 2,660 kilometers. Eight days. Battling the sands of Baja for the pure glory of the journey. Leen’s group crossed the Mexican border at Tecate and set their GPS toward Mike’s Sky Rancho, facing rough graded, off-road trails through breathtaking National Park landscapes. The reward? Being the first reported ones to ever make it there on a Ducati Multistrada V4. Despite an unexpectedly hard-fought attempt at continuing the Baja Racing Route the next day, spirits stayed high through the rest of the trip along Baja’s beautiful coastline. Paved roads and hard-packed trails were no problem. But on deep sand tracks at full load? Let’s just say: respect the terrain. Baja doesn’t hand out glory, you earn every gritty kilometer.
