⚽️ AN IMPORTANT LIFE LESSON! One of the things I love most about football is how often it presents opportunities to teach children lessons that go far beyond the game itself. During a recent session, two girls came over and asked if they could swap teams because they felt it wasn’t fair. Now, in that moment, it would have been easy to step in and fix it. But instead, it felt like a really good opportunity to pause and have a conversation. We spoke about how in a real game, you can’t ask the referee to change the teams. You don’t get to reset the challenge just because it feels difficult or unfair in that moment. Sometimes, you have to face what’s in front of you. And that’s where the real learning is.
