The modern world—with birth control, reproductive freedom, and a sex-positive culture—has completely changed the landscape of relationships, safety, and personal autonomy compared to ancient times. Let’s be real: it is simply too hard to try to be "perfect" according to ancient rules and still be an actual human being living in the 21st century. I cannot do it, and I am done trying to force it. The only person who was ever perfect was Jesus. I am a deeply flawed human being, just like everyone else on this earth, and I try my best every single day.
