Imagine beating 1-in-13,000+ odds… 32 years too late. This 1993-94 Hoops Magic Johnson/Larry Bird dual-auto redemption can’t redeem the autographs it once promised. But I’d argue that doesn’t make it worthless. It might make it more interesting. Because this card is now a time capsule from a completely different era of the hobby — when an unexpired redemption could apparently still expire simply because the industry moved on. The chase is gone. The story survived.
