An ICE traffic stop in North Brunswick took a dramatic turn last Wednesday when officials say a driver sped away, ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle. Following the crash, the suspect fled on foot, but was arrested by ICE agents a short time later. Officials say the wife of East Brunswick Mayor Brad Cohen was involved in the collision. “Today, it appears an ICE involved car chase resulted in an accident involving the wife of the Mayor of East Brunswick,” Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) wrote in a post on X. “ICE’s lawlessness is putting innocent people in harms way. #AbolishICE” A social media post from township police said Route 130 was down to one lane at the intersection of Raider Road due to a crash investigation. 🔗Tap the link for everything we know.
