THE ORIOLES HAD THIS GAME. Then the 11th inning happened. Baltimore fell 6-5 to the Colorado Rockies in 11 innings after Grant Wolfram surrendered three runs in the bottom of the 11th. With automatic runner Connor Norby aboard, Wolfram allowed a leadoff single to T.J. Rumfield on a two-seamer over the heart of the plate, bringing a run to make it 5-4. Then came the crushing blow. With two runners in scoring position, Wolfram left another fastball in the middle of the zone to backup catcher Brett Sullivan. Sullivan lined it to left field, Luis Robert Jr.’s throw home was offline, and two runs scored to walk it off for Colorado. Just like that, a game the Orioles battled to reclaim was gone. The frustration is real because the O’s did enough to win it more than once.
