World of Winter has redefined how we “do winter” here in Grand Rapids by filling the downtown with brightly colored artwork to enjoy during the day and night. Grand Rapids-based artist @mandy_cano_villalobos' work is part of the brightness, but there's more than meets the eye. Carnevale is an interactive installation comprised of found objects gathered from Grand Rapids residents, offering a way to rethink our relationship with our things, and by extension, with each other.
