Some projects stay with you long after they’re finished. “Dream Factory: Cantopop Mandopop 1980s–2000” at the Chinese Canadian Museum is one of them. 🥹✂️ We recreated three iconic looks: A phoenix-embroidered cheongsam for Teresa Teng, a gold-beaded tailcoat for Roman Tam, and the Angel Suit for Leslie Cheung. This has been one of our most meaningful projects to date. Not just for the craftsmanship, but for what these artists represent across generations. A big congratulations to @ccmuseumbc on receiving the 2025 Canadian Museums Association Award for Outstanding Achievement.
