The Genius and the Impostor by brainjojosh - I really enjoyed this one. It’s an easy, engaging read with great analogies for understanding how the brain learns and why that’s so important. In particular, the idea that movement, perception, and cognition aren’t separate systems, but that they work together, constantly shaping how we learn and interact with the world. - As a parent, I found it even more valuable. Ability isn’t fixed, and curiosity, practice, struggle, and feedback are how we learn. This is a great read for parents, educators, neuroscientists or anyone curious about how the brain gets better at things.
