Even as a CrossFit athlete who understood nutrition and exercise, I found myself 35+ lbs heavier, inflamed, puffy, and frustrated that my body wasn't responding. Here are some of the key changes I made to finally lose the weight: 1. Less cardio, more strength and recovery. I shifted from only burning calories to respecting my body's need for recovery. 2. Switched to protein-first breakfasts. My first meal became about 30-40g of protein, instead of carb-heavy options like cereal or toast. 3. Stopped restricting food and focused on adding more protein instead. 4. Increased daylight exposure and walking, rather than staying indoors all day. 5. Reduced unnecessary exposures. I became mindful of fragrance, personal-care, and household products, understanding their impact on hormones and weight. Comment 'STRESSFAT' and I'll send you my free webinar explaining why eating less isn't enough when stress is the root cause of weight gain.
