I pulled up to Toastique in Charlotte and had to run through the menu. Shoutout to this being a Black owned spot, that’s always a plus for me. I didn’t even know they had matcha, smoothies, acai bowls, teas and a grab and go section on top of the toast. Thought it was just toast honestly. I tried the cold pressed juices and they were really good. Went with the smoked salmon toast, herbed cream cheese, arugula, cucumber, smoked salmon, pickled onions and capers, solid choice. The crab toast was the one for me though, melted swiss and fontina, lettuce, tomato, lump crab, jalapeños and a sriracha aioli drizzle that sealed it as my favorite. They’ve also got a summer menu right now with a watermelon feta toast and a blue iced seafoam matcha latte worth trying. You can tell everything is made with high quality ingredients, fresh, well put together, and it shows in every bite.
