One of my favorite dinner series in Charlotte was back this past weekend. 🎤🍽️ Serving the Culture: New Jack Sound was an 8-course immersive dining experience where Charlotte’s best chefs each crafted a dish inspired by a song from the New Jack Swing era. Bobby Brown. LL Cool J. Keith Sweat. Michael Jackson. Every course had a full vibe to match. The plates were no joke - smoked chicken with butter bean whip, bereberé rabbit, a Mandazi dessert flight that went way too hard. Cocktail pairings with every course courtesy of mixologist Yoshi.
