We have an immediate need for books for babies and young children at our hospitals! September is #NationalLiteracyMonth, and our NICUs will be participating in a babies_with_books read-a-thon, during which parents, siblings, staff and volunteers read books to all of our hospitalized babies. Infants in the #NICU are at increased risk of developmental delays, and research shows reading to them early and often can help. Please consider donating baby books to our hospitals via the Amazon wish lists in our bio links. **All books must be new due to infection-control precautions.
