Today is the International Day of Biological Diversity and 🐞Biodiversity is the basis of all life.🦎⁣ ⁣ Nature provides us with clean water to drink 💧 healthy food to eat 🥦shadow in the heat 🌳and air to breathe. 🏞️And we are part of this ecosystem 🌍⁣ ⁣ We asked 10 people from all over the world what nature means to them and teamed up with chris_relander, photo artist from Finland to create a series of magical We Are Nature double exposure images. ⁣ ⁣ Lucía and Manuela just arrived home in Buenos Aires after sailing with the Greenpeace ship Witness. Last year they also joined actions to protect the Gran Chaco, the second largest forest ecosystem in South America and massively threatened by deforestation for industrial agriculture and livestock. Both feel truly connected to nature and stand up to preserve what is most sacred to them: their native forests. #WeAreNature
