𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐍 ❤️ ​ ​I rarely post photos of myself with queens or candidates. Pageanteras has always been about THEM. ​ ​But today? Exception granted. ​ ​I spotted one of my all-time favorite 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 queens, vanessaponcedeleon of Mexico, Miss World 2018, having lunch at the Voco Scenia Bay Hotel here in Nha Trang, Vietnam. ​ ​I patiently waited until she finished eating. Then she walked past me and I FINALLY found the nerve to call her. ​ ​Cool and collected on the outside. ​Pageant heart doing cartwheels on the inside. ​ ​And OMG, the energy. Warm. Radiant. Genuinely lovely. 💙💙💙 ​ ​We took a couple of snaps before she headed off to Hello Vietnam, Hello World: Dances of the World. ​ ​Fun fact: Vanessa made history as Mexico’s first-ever Miss World in 2018. ​ ​Eight years later, I finally got to meet her. ​ ​My first Miss World experience was already special.
