I will NEVER AGAIN use hardwood flooring in my home and here’s why! We just endured Tropical Storm Arthur on the #GulfCoast and it left many with damage and flooding. Our sunroom took in some of the floodwaters and thankfully we were spared heavy damage because I swear by waterproof vinyl flooring! Our floors and rugs were soaked, but no buckling (which would have been eminent had the flooring been 100% hardwood!) I’m thankful we didn’t endure worse and this is evidence of why we SWEAR BY our wood-look vinyl! Im a vinyl flooring girly because in our previous, customer built home, we had hardwood throughout and two separate incidences with a washing machine leak and heavy rain left us with buckled floors and a whole mess of getting entire rooms replaced! I said never again to the hardwood. It’s beautiful, but it can be a pain to keep dry at all times, especially living in #coastalMS. What type of flooring do you guys have in your home?
