Photograph by capturesbycara | While on a bird-watching trip in Brazil, my mom and I talked about how much we'd love to see a sloth in the wild. We kept a close eye on the cecropia trees, hoping for a glimpse of a sloth high in the tree canopy. Imagine our joy when we saw this three-toed sloth right off the trail at Reserva Ecológica de Guapiaçu (REGUA) in Cachoeiras de Macacu!
