My time in the Philippines with unicefusa has left me feeling deeply inspired and full of hope, especially by the youth, community leaders and teachers. It was incredible to see how community leaders work with UNICEF to create opportunities for children to learn, grow and feel supported before, during and after disasters. Their communities are working hand-in-hand with UNICEF to build resiliency, through programs focused on health, nutrition, education, and psychosocial support. What stayed with me most is how much of this work comes from a place of love and a belief in what’s possible when young people are given the chance to thrive. I’m so grateful to have witnessed it firsthand and to stand alongside UNICEF in their mission to pursue a more equitable world #ForEveryChild.   Getting to ball with an all-star squad was simply a bonus.
