Located within our Wildlife Health & Science Centre, the Cryobank preserves valuable genetic material from wildlife at temperatures below –190°C, including living cells such as sperm, eggs, embryos and somatic cells. These materials can remain viable for the long term, creating a genetic reservoir that can support conservation breeding, scientific research and, potentially, future species recovery and reintroduction efforts.
