Our first anniversary came around the same time I was diagnosed with cancer. We had this beautiful trip planned that our wedding planner had organized for us, and we ended up canceling it. Our second anniversary, I was deep in treatment and too sick to really celebrate.
I keep finding myself comparing where I am now to where I was a year ago all the time. And if there’s a silver lining in everything that’s happened, it’s that I don’t think I would have appreciated the little things quite this much before. A dinner. Getting dressed up. Feeling good. Celebrating another year together. Things that might have once felt ordinary suddenly feel like everything.
I am so excited to get dressed up in
@bluenilediamond for the evening and celebrate this milestone in pieces that feel just as meaningful as the moment itself. I love that these natural diamond essentials can be worn for dressy occasions, but are are just as beautiful incorporated into my everyday.
