A 67-year-old man died Thursday morning after a fight at Westlake Park in downtown Seattle, according to Seattle police. Officers were called around 6:45 a.m. after a passerby reported two men fighting and one man calling for help.
When officers arrived, they found the 67-year-old without a pulse. First responders attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police quickly located and arrested a 39-year-old man who they say was the other person involved in the fight.
A nearby Seattle Police Real Time Crime Center camera captured the incident and is expected to be important to the ongoing investigation. Police have not released additional details about what led to the confrontation.
