Bellingham Lowers Speed Limits To 20 MPH On Residential And Downtown Streets To Improve Road Safety⚠️🚗 Bellingham is rolling out new 20 mph speed limits on residential streets and throughout the downtown area. The changes began August 25 and are designed to reduce serious crashes and make streets safer for people walking, biking and driving. The new default applies to non-arterial residential and local-access streets where another limit is not posted. The city plans additional speed-limit changes on select arterial roads in 2027 and 2028 as part of a three-year safety program. What are your thoughts on this⁉️👀 #DUBSEA
