Seattle Is Preparing A New Plan To Address Gun Violence. Mayor Katie Wilson and Interim Police Chief Andre Sayles spoke Monday after three separate shootings in Belltown left three people dead and four others injured. Police say the shootings appear to be separate and unrelated. Wilson says her upcoming gun violence reduction strategy will be included in her proposed budget and will use a “focused deterrence” approach aimed at people involved in the most serious violence. Police also plan to increase bike patrols and focus on individuals known to be involved in gun violence Do You Think The City’s New Strategy Will Make A Difference⁉️🤔 #DUBSEA
