The teachers, nurses, construction workers, farmers, firefighters, tradespeople, service workers, small business employees, and everyone else who shows up every day and does the work. Labor Day is a reminder of who keeps this country moving. You are the backbone of Idaho and of this country. Workers deserve more than a thank you. They deserve a fair shake. Fair pay. Safe workplaces. Affordable healthcare. Time with their families. The chance to work hard and actually build a life. Today, I am grateful for every Idahoan whose work keeps our communities running.
