Before leaving to respond to the unfolding attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, Kiara Badalamente’s father took her outside to go rollerblading, cherishing a quiet moment with his daughter, unsure if he would ever see her again. Like so many first responders that day, he left home not knowing what lay ahead. Inspired by her father’s courage, sacrifice, and lifelong commitment to helping others, Badalamente has dedicated herself to serving the 9/11 community. Today, she works to support individuals and families affected by the long-term illnesses linked to the collapse of the Twin Towers, helping ensure that those still living with the lasting impacts of September 11 are seen, supported, and never forgotten. #NYC #NeverForget911 #911Museum
