Calling all Detroit Parks & Recreation Department family, friends and supporters! July is Park Month ~ National Recreation and Parks Association has a Photo Contest starting July 4th! Show us your #SuperParkSelfie Contest This July, we want you to show us how you find your super powers in your community parks and local recreation centers. Taking place July 4 to 31, we're looking for you to submit a photo each week that meets the weekly theme. Photos can be submitted online, on Facebook or via Instagram and Twitter using the hashtags #SuperParkSelfie and #SuperJuly. They will then be part of a gallery where you can ask your friends and family to vote for your selfies. We're awarding a $500 Amazon gift card each week to the selfie with the most votes.
