After being escorted to his office by his wife, like it was his first day of school. Our Deputy Director David Miller settled in as if he has been here all along. David brings a wealth of knowledge and experienced in area of recreation, training and programming. Before coming home, he worked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Alexandria, Virginia as Assistant/Chief of Recreation. However, he's no stranger to the Detroit Parks & Recreation Department and the City of Detroit. Before relocating, out of state, he was Belle Isle Manager, East District Manager II, Interim General Manager-Programs, Deputy Director-Sr. Citizens and Human Resources.
