Galveston’s mural collection is getting a new addition, and this one tells a story that reaches all the way to Spain. Work is underway at 27th & Seawall on a new mural celebrating the connection between Galveston and Málaga, Spain. Galveston was named for Bernardo de Gálvez, and the mural honors that shared history as part of America’s 250th anniversary.
