Before it was AMS Performance, it was Automotosport. July 2001 šŸ“ø Martin Musial, one unit, and a company only a few months old. AMS did not start with a Mitsubishi. The first product was a camshaft for the Ford 2.3 turbo. When that market dried up, Martin started over on the platform he actually drove. He and the AMS team built a bolt-in intercooler kit for the Galant VR-4 and one of the first T3/T4 turbo kits available for the 4G63 āš™ļø Eagle Talons, Eclipses, Galant VR-4s. Different badges, same engine, all of them parked in a shop with one glass case up front and whatever fit on the wall behind it. The method never changed. Build the part. Put it in your own car. Race it. Then sell it to somebody else. Twenty five years later the platforms cost more and the numbers are bigger. Martin is still the one on the laptop šŸ’» We are missing years of this šŸ“© If you have photos of AMS from the early days, send them to us. They belong in the archive. #25yearsofAMS #amsperformance #amsarchi...
