Dinner + drinks recap 🍝🍸⚓️ We started at Adriatic Cafe in League City. We had the calamari, and I ordered the manicotti with grilled chicken breast. The food was decent, but for me, it leaned more Italian-American than the traditional/authentic Italian flavors I was hoping for. Now that lemon martini? 🍋🍸 So good! Not overly sweet, which I loved. And the service absolutely deserves recognition our waitress was awesome! I had plenty of questions about the food and its authenticity, and she was patient, friendly and happy to answer them. Overall: 6/10. Afterward, we headed to one of my longtime favorites, Barge 295. It had been over a year, and they’ve completely changed the place! The upper deck is giving me colorful ’80s/’90s nostalgia laid-back, fun and definitely my vibe. 😂 The lower deck feels more modern and polished, which is pretty too…it just depends on the mood.
