So when did the small season become the only one that matters? I started Buzz City to bring value back to club basketball because too many people have lost sight of how important it actually is to a player’s mental, emotional and physical development. Every pathway matters. Rep, club, school, they all build toward bigger goals. But if you think just showing up to log your minimum games for rep is where the value is, you don’t understand development. Skills and confidence are built in reps, not in trials. Learning a skill is one thing. Applying it under pressure, in a real game, is what makes it worth anything, and club is where that happens, over and over, all season long.
