Happy Father’s Day 🏀 Every father wants the same thing for his daughter/son, to see them grow into a strong person. Not strong in the way the world sometimes gets wrong, but strong with compassion. Strong with empathy. Strong with resilience. A person who leads with respect for others and for themselves. That’s why so many of us end up on a basketball court with our kids. It was never really about the game. It’s about the drive there and back, the conversations that happen in between. It’s about holding their hand through the early years, building memories one practice, one game, one car ride at a time. It’s about being in their corner when they fall short, because they will, and teaching them how to get back up every single time. Being a father is the ultimate coaching job.
