But findings of the 🆕 WMO Air Quality & Climate Bulletin show that an increase in pollution from wildfires and heatwaves could slow efforts to improve air quality and protect human and ecosystem health.
The bulletin highlights the complex interlinkages between air quality and climate. It shows the negative impacts to human health and the environment of air pollutants such as fine particulate matter, and ground-level ozone, aerosol like black carbon and microplastics.
