Sir Tom Jones has made it VERY clear he didn't choose to leave The Voice UK 😳 The 86-year-old singer has said ITV made the decision to remove him as a full-time coach, claiming he was only told recently and that the reason given involved a “financial difficulty with insurance”. Sir Tom has been part of The Voice UK since its launch in 2012, appearing as a coach for 13 of its 14 series. Addressing his future on the show, he said: “They are offering a much-reduced role where I would make an appearance but without being actually involved from the start, and I’m not thrilled about that.” ITV has said it is in talks with Sir Tom and is “hopeful” he will return in some capacity. Sir Tom ended his statement: “So the only thing I know right now, is that there’s never a good time to fire an 86-year-old who’s still pretty good at his job.” #tomjones #thevoice #ladbible
