Our Grade 11 Lions kicked off the year with a spark! 🌍✨ This year's orientation centered on Community Engagement — starting right here at home. Students rolled up their sleeves to help teachers organize and decorate classrooms, potted plants, cleaned up our block, and took part in leadership workshops on sustainability, kindness, and conflict resolution. One highlight: a "Leadership in Sustainability" workshop led by Lou Mark of Autodesk, a leader in Sustainability & ESG, who guided students through practical tools for driving real change in our community and beyond. The goal? To get students actively involved, build leadership skills they'll carry through the year, and deepen connections with each other, faculty, staff, and our wider community.
