Congratulations to Ila Giroux ’27 and Lily Beal ’27, who have been invited to join Team SW1FT — the reigning U.S. STEM Racing National Champions — to represent the United States at the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore this fall! 🌍🇺🇸🏎️ Competing as SW1FT 2026 Worlds Team, they are among just three teams that earned a spot representing the United States at the World Finals out of the 50 teams that qualified for Nationals, making them among 83 teams from 30 countries worldwide to qualify. The six-member team is made up of students with specialized roles: Ila serves as Aerodynamics Engineer and Project Manager, while Lily manages enterprise and sustainability. Held the week before the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix, the World Finals lets teams walk the Grand Prix track and meet F1 drivers, engineers, and team management. It’s truly a full-circle moment.
