🐴 Animal of the Week: Callie 💕 Callie is Levi’s mama, and a few months ago, we rescued them both from a kill pen in Tennessee. When Callie first arrived, she was so scared. She didn’t trust us, wouldn’t come near us, and wanted nothing to do with being touched. But with time, patience, and lots of love, Callie has slowly learned that she is safe. And now… look at her. 🥰 She comes up to us, lets us love on her, and is becoming more comfortable every day. Watching her learn to trust again is one of the most rewarding parts of rescue.
