SEND to another mom & comment ‘LIST’ for my full list of protein foods w servings ideas 🙂↔️
If you’ve ever stressed about whether your toddler is getting enough protein… this is your reminder that it’s usually a lot less than most of us think 🫶🏼
Most toddlers can meet their protein needs through simple everyday foods like:
yogurt or yogurt pouches
cheese
milk (if they’re drinking 16-20 oz then they’re literally getting all their protein from that milk! 🤯)
eggs
beans, green peas
nut/seed butters, hemp hearts
chicken nuggets, meat, fish
pasta, bread, oats, even goldfish have 3g protein per pack lol
They don’t need huge portions, which is why I wanted to show a “toddler portion” which is around 3-5 grams of protein. Alllll those little bites throughout the day add up!! They just need about 13 grams/day for 1-3 yo & ~19 g/day for 4-8 yo or half their body wt in lbs (basically 3-5 servings)
SAVE this for the days it feels like they’re living on air 🤎 & follow
