25 years after 9/11, New York City is honoring the stories of what came after.
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum in Lower Manhattan is opening In Their Honor: 25 Years of 9/11-Inspired Service, a powerful new exhibition exploring how people impacted by September 11th turned grief into action through service, advocacy, humanitarian work, and organizations that continue to help communities in NYC and around the world.
With around 100 million Americans now too young to have their own memory of 9/11, the exhibition also explores what remembrance means for a new generation — and how the legacy of September 11th continues 25 years later.
In Their Honor opens September 12th at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center in NYC.
