The art of #luchalibre Photoshoot #1 Ok I actually just wanted to show these snippets I took in between takes during this photoshoot. I definitely need to learn a lot more about the culture and will have more photoshoots that fit the lucha theme. I’ve been sitting on some ideas for a while, but thanks to averpoem for putting together this creative group, I got a taste of what could be. The foundations of Mexican wrestling can be traced back to 1863, by Enrique Ugartechea, who used Greco Roman wrestling as its fundamentals when bringing the idea to Mexico. The iconic masked look, started by a wrestler named Corbin James Massey, he hired another wrestlers boot designer to make him the mask as to not be recognized.
