NOTHING IS REAL “I feel that abstraction brings me closer to humanity and human creativity.” — John Wong Two evolving bodies of work sit at the heart of John Wong’s AI practice: Nothing Is Real and Museum of Prompt. Nothing Is Real transforms subconscious thoughts and everyday experiences into what John describes as digital sketches of the mind. In Museum of Prompt, the face becomes a space for dialogue with AI — fragmented through glitch, noise and abstraction as he investigates what visual prompting can become. Rather than pursuing the realism AI can so easily produce, John is drawn towards uncertainty and imperfection: images that appear temporary, unstable and continually transforming. Perhaps that is where the human presence becomes most visible — not in perfection, but in everything that refuses to remain fixed.
