AI/CC September 2026 Featured Artist — John Wong We’re proud to present John Wong (also known as “Nothing is Real”) as our AI/CC September 2026 Featured Artist. A UK-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, film, theatre, and artificial intelligence, Wong explores the space between physical and digital creation — where abstraction, Eastern metaphysics, cultural memory, and contemporary algorithmic thinking converge. Rather than approaching AI simply as a tool, Wong treats the machine as a collaborator within an expanded painterly process. Through prompting, micro-editing, iteration, and “vibe coding,” he develops layered visual works that investigate perception, identity, symbolism, uncertainty, and the shifting relationship between human intention and intelligent systems.
