Cal football head coach Tosh Lupoi is enlisting Greek life to join his stacked recruitment class. In order to help salvage Cal football’s long-standing attendance problem, Lupoi is counting on fraternities and sororities to get their “butts in the seat.” Ahead of last Saturday’s game against UCLA, Lupoi emphasized in a press conference “how important” sororities and fraternities are to Cal football, referring to a meeting he had with greek leadership last spring. “Excited to see y’all, but get your butts in the seat and be on time for 7:30 kickoff,” Lupoi said in the press conference last week.
