Honoring the life of Dr. Robert Bryan Sloan, Jr. 🕊️ Dr. Sloan, beloved President of Houston Christian University, passed away suddenly but peacefully on July 4, 2026, following an unexpected stroke — surrounded by his wife, Sue, and their family. For nearly twenty years, he led HCU with unwavering faith and vision, following a distinguished career as President and Chancellor of Baylor University.
