Plenty of time to book a ferry! ⛴ Another USGA Championship is coming to Nantucket, with iconic Sankaty Head Golf Club set to host the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship in 2036! Sankaty Head, located on the eastern edge of Nantucket, was designed by Emerson Armstrong and opened for play in 1923. Built on sand-based, coastal land, the course was restored by Jim Urbina and current superintendent C.J.
