Tennis Ball Review: tecnifibre Court Ball
These are one of my favorite tennis balls on the market. The bounce test came in at 26.5 inches (~67.3 cm) before and 23 inches (~58.42 cm) after playing for 3 hours. Slightly disappointing that initial bounce faded… but it did stay consistent at 23 inches even after 7 hours of hitting… which is super impressive! The weight test came in at
57g for each ball... All consistent (which is important!), but it is a slightly lighter ball compared to the US Open.
Personally? I love these balls, but not all of my friends were fans. For me… the key is the value I get from them. I’m able to open 2 cans and use the same balls all week with a consistent bounce. So although I wish the price was less ($100 for a case vs. $120), I do think they provide a great value.
After cutting them open, I noticed the rubber is slightly thicker than other balls. That might explain why they last longer.
Overall Grade: S tier
Concluding remarks: it’s a high quality ...
