The race was difficult because I was fighting every lap. We lose a lot on the straight, so I was mainly catching the riders under braking without really being able to overtake. Towards the end, the front tyre was also getting hotter and I started struggling more with locking. The positive is that my pace was very strong, especially after the halfway point. I did a 1:31.7, my best lap of the weekend, and caught up with Fabio’s lap time. I was already on the limit, but our pace was very similar, which is a big positive. I finished 12th, but I believe my pace was closer to seventh or eighth. The biggest problem is still qualifying.
