readwith3: If you missed church today, read the Bible with me. Today’s word comes from Psalm 37:1-7: Sometimes we look around and wonder why people who do wrong still seem to be winning. We see what they have, how they move, and we start asking God, “Why them?” But verse 1 reminds us not to stress over evildoers or envy what they have, because what looks good now will not last forever. Verse 3 tells us what to do instead: trust in the Lord and do good. Not trust in God and then do whatever we want. Not compare ourselves to everybody else. Trust God’s plan, because we may think we know what’s best, but God sees what we cannot see. Verse 4 says to delight yourself in the Lord. That means learning to be happy with God, not just happy with what He gives. When we grow closer to Him, our desires start lining up with His will.
